Newborn sessions typically take place within the first two weeks after birth, when your baby is still very sleepy and easy to pose. These sessions are calm, cozy, and filled with tender moments. The sitter session is one of my favorites. Around six to eight months, babies can sit up on their own but are not yet crawling away, which makes it a dream for photos. This is when their chubby cheeks, bright eyes, and curiosity take center stage.

Sitter sessions are full of laughter, playful moments, and adorable facial expressions. Whether your baby is reaching for their toes, clapping their hands, or flashing that toothless grin, every image is bursting with personality.

One Year: The Cake Smash Celebration

The first birthday is a huge milestone worth celebrating. A cake smash session is a fun, joyful way to mark your baby’s big day and capture their growing independence. Some little ones dive right into the cake, while others take a more cautious approach, and every reaction makes for the best photos.

Along with the cake smash, I also love to include simple portraits that show how much your baby has grown. These photos are a beautiful way to complete your baby’s first-year story.
